Level I Setup

  1. This game is designed for 2-4 players.
  2. Lay out the board cards (green backs) to remind everybody about the rules and techniques.
  3. Shuffle the emotions cards (white backs) and place them in a pile.

Emotional Agility Practice

  1. Shuffle and deal 5 cards to each player.
  2. First player shares an "I feel" and "I think" statement based on one of their cards.
  3. Next player also shares an "I feel" and "I think" statement, but connects their statements to the previous player's statements in some way.
    • Players do not have to stay on the previous subject.
    • Use your creativity to connect the cards.
  4. This continues until all players' cards are used.

If a player wants to pass on a card, the card must be traded for two additional cards. Every player must keep going until all cards are used, even if one player must go twice in a row.
